Libraries contain collections of books, periodicals, and sometimes films and recorded music for people to read, borrow, or refer to. At Centerview’s Library, there are over 27,000 books that have been inventoried by title, author, ISBN, publication year, publisher and subject matter. The library catalog, located in the right column, helps to serve as an inventory or bookkeeping of our library’s contents. Parents and students can easily identify whether a book is available at Centerview by searching the catalog.
Additionally, Save The Children also maintains a library catalog. Their list, located in the right column, offers 60 additional books to our school and further identifies their books into fiction, non-fiction, grade level, AR level, page counts and whether the book is available in Spanish. This is also true for our individual classroom libraries listed in the right column. Separations by grade levels and teachers make it even easier to review reading material for your child.
